Sono state annunciate le nomination per gli attesissimi Golden Globe 2023.
Dopo le numerose lamentele degli scorsi anni sulla poca attenzione in tema di inclusione, quest’anno sembra che il direttivo abbia fatto delle scelte mirate per pararsi preventivamente il… volto in caso di proteste.
I premi saranno assegnati il 10 gennaio nel corso della serata condotta da Jarrod Carmichael, stand up comedian (che purtroppo non potrà mai toccare i livelli di Ricky Gervais).
Quest’anno si è deciso di aggiungere delle nuove categorie: Miglior Attrice e Miglior Attore non protagonista in una serie tv Musical, Comedy o Drama; Miglior Attrice e Attore non protagonista in una serie tv Musical, Comedy o Drama; e Miglior Attrice e Miglior Attore non protagonista in una miniserie.
Il risultato di questa edizione sono delle nomination tutto sommato equilibrate che, anche a questo giro, si preparano a premiare il meglio del cinema e della televisione che abbiamo visto quest’anno.
A contendersi il premio più pesante, ossia quello per il miglior film drammatico, sono due film amatissimi come Avatar 2 e Top Gun: Maverick. Ma per la stessa sezione c’è anche chi scommette su Elvis, presentato in anteprima a Cannes, con un brano dei Maneskin nella colonna sonora, e l’opera firmata Steven Spielberg The Fabelmans.
Per il premio Miglior serie drammatica abbiamo uno scontro tra titani con The Crown e House of the Dragon, sui social non si è parlato d’altro. I fan della royalty inglese hanno vissuto un anno intenso tra i gossip di Buckingam Palace e la scomparsa della regina; d’altra parte Game of Thrones, plurima vincitrice del premio, ha portato ad House of the Dragon una miriade di fan… va a finire che vince Better Call Saul (e comunque non ci dispiacerebbe).
Ma passiamo alla parte più interessante, ossia quella delle nomination vere e proprie. Ogni anno ci chiediamo come mai tra i tanti super ospiti dell’evento Miss Meritocracy non venga invitata o non accetti di presentarsi. Sarà così anche quest’anno?
